For at least 1700 years, followers of Jesus have been gathering at Midnight on Christmas Eve to sing the Songs, tell the Story, and celebrate the arrival of Emmanuel, God With Us. The God of the Bible seems to enjoy unexpected meetings in unlikely places: inns, stables, mangers…
So why not a brewery?
Join us at 11 pm on Christmas Eve at Lazarus on Airport Blvd. All are welcome, regardless of your spiritual convictions (or lack thereof). So bring your kids. And your friends. This is a free event, but space is limited so arrive early!
This has become a tradition in our family and we look forward to sharing it with you.
“Man's maker was made man that He, Ruler of the stars,
might nurse at His mother's breast;
that the Bread might hunger,
the Fountain thirst,
the Light sleep,
the Way be tired on its journey;
that Truth might be accused of false witness,
the Teacher be beaten with whips,
the Foundation be suspended on wood;
that Strength might grow in weakness;
that the Healer might be wounded;
that Life might die...”– St. Augustine, North Africa (Christmas, ca. A.D. 400)
